Margaret Caldwell is the formidable matriarch of an established Birmingham family. Margaret would have been the first client in Oakland County to demand a 12-month maintenance calendar. She would have reviewed it herself (in red ink) and returned it with three additions she expected completed before the end of the month. Her relationship with The Sentinels was not transactional. The Estate Principal - A fictional character of a Commanded Estate

Colonel Edmund Ashford built the grandest property on the ridge. This was not to make a statement, but because anything worth doing was worth doing properly. His estate required full-time coordination, complete with staff accountability, capital planning, vendor oversight, and a point of command that could act without requiring his constant direction.
